Guillem Balague has revealed that Real Madrid haven’t agreed a deal to sign Chelsea number one Thibaut Courtois – yet.

The Champions League holders have been linked with a raid on the Premier League to sign a goalkeeper to replace Keylor Navas in the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid have regularly been linked with a move to sign Manchester United shot stopper David De Gea over the past few seasons.

Courtois is thought to be another potential prospect for los Blancos despite the Belgian having spent three campaigns at their city rivals Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old is on the cusp of winning his second Premier League title in three seasons as Antonio Conte’s side close in on the English top-flight crown.

Writing in his Sky Sports column about Courtois and Real Madrid, Balague revealed that there is no deal in place to sign the Belgian shot stopper.

“Thibaut Courtois seems more likely but they don’t have an agreement with either player just yet,” Balague said.

“One thing we do know is that Florentino Perez doesn’t want Keylor Navas to be the No 1 next season.”
