Graeme Souness has spoken of his confidence that Liverpool will finish in the Premier League’s top four this season.

The Merseyside outfit are looking to secure a return to the Champions League after a two-season absence from Europe’s top table.

Liverpool have won their last four games at Anfield to cement their place in the Premier League’s top four.

The Reds beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in February before a 3-1 win against Arsenal last month to secure important wins against their rivals.

Klopp’s side were comfortable 3-1 winners against Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ about Liverpool’s top-four challenge, the club’s former captain Souness backed Klopp’s men to secure their return to the Champions League.

“It’s for Liverpool to lose now in the top four. They’re in a great situation,” Souness said.
