The Manchester United midfielder isn't planning to give up in the top-four race
Ander Herrera has promised that Manchester United will keep fighting in the top-four race after Sunday’s 3-0 win at Sunderland.
The Red Devils moved to within four points of fourth-placed Manchester City thanks to their comfortable victory over the Premier League’s basement club.
Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford helped the visitors to secure a 3-0 victory and close the gap on Liverpool to six points.
Liverpool and Manchester City occupy the final two Champions League spots but Manchester United have played one game less than their derby rivals and two games less than Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Manchester United, though, will face a difficult clash against Premier League leaders Chelsea in their next top-flight fixture at Old Trafford next Sunday.
However, Herrera was in a determined mood as the Spanish midfielder took to Instagram to issue a rallying cry to his Manchester United team-mates.
Herrera posted the below photo and wrote on the photo-sharing app:
