Gary Neville has praised Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford for his attitude over the course of the season.

The England international has scored four goals and has made one assist in 25 appearances in the Premier League in the 2016-17 campaign.

Rashford netted his latest Premier League goal in Manchester United’s 2-0 win against leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old managed to get on the end of Ander Herrera’s pass before the striker slotted a finish past Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

Rashford has found his first-team opportunities limited in recent months given Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s impressive form at the top of the table.

Manchester United legend Neville lavished praise on Rashford for his stellar performance against the leaders at Old Trafford and his dedication over the past season.

“He’s knuckled down this season, Marcus Rashford,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“He certainly has not reached the heights of last season but in the first half it was probably as good as it’s been for him. He was brilliant.”

Manchester United are in fifth place in the Premier League table.
