Matt Le Tissier is expecting Paul Pogba to be a big hit at Manchester United next season after a disappointing campaign this term.

The French midfielder arrived back at Old Trafford last summer to much fanfare after Manchester United paid a world-record transfer fee to re-sign him from Juventus.

Pogba has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United team this season but most Red Devils fans will probably agree that he is yet to live up to his billing at Old Trafford.

Former Southampton star has been disappointed by what he’s seen from Pogba so far this term but is expecting the France midfielder to come good next season.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Le Tissier said: “Even ignoring his price tag here and just judging him as a Manchester United player, he’s still a miss [this season] for me.

“I still don’t think he’s taken enough games by the scruff of the neck, although I do think he’ll be a hit next season.”
