Paul Scholes has admitted that he is worried about some of the away fixtures left for Manchester United in the Premier League this season, including games against Manchester City and Arsenal.

The Red Devils are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon as they look to continue their march towards a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho’s men headed into this weekend’s round of games in fifth place in the Premier League table as they look to secure Champions League qualification for next season.

Manchester United are fresh from having booked their place in the Europa League semi-finals thanks to a 2-1 extra-time win over Anderlecht on Thursday night.

The Red Devils still need to play Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City away from home in the Premier League this season.

And Scholes admits that those three games a somewhat of a concern for Mourinho’s men heading into the closing stages of the season.

Scholes told BT Sport: “The away games worry me a bit. Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham away will be a little bit of a worry.

“But they set the standard on Sunday [against Chelsea] and now they have to reproduce that if they want to get anything from those games.”
