Stan Collymore believes that Manchester United have shown the best way to beat Chelsea this season – by man-marking Eden Hazard.

The Red Devils earned plenty of plaudits as the weekend as they secured a 2-0 win over the Premier League leaders at Old Trafford, with Ander Herrera keeping Hazard quiet throughout the game.

Tottenham are currently gearing up for their crunch FA Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday evening.

And former Liverpool star Collymore believes that Manchester United’s win over the Blues has given Chelsea’s rivals a blueprint on how to beat Antonio Conte’s men this term.

Writing in his column for Boyle Sports, Collymore said: “Add to the mix a volatile Diego Costa, who is begging to be sent off anytime soon and an Eden Hazard, who was so easily marked by Ander Herrera, that every manager who has to face Chelsea until the season ends must be thinking their chances increase massively if they now put someone man to man on the Belgian.”

Chelsea have been the Premier League’s top performing team this season but have seen their lead at the top cut to just four points with six games left to play.

Tottenham have been in fine form in recent weeks and have won their last two Premier League games 4-0.
