Paul Pogba is convinced that Manchester United can finish in the top four this season – and win the Europa League.

The French midfielder is currently getting used to life at Old Trafford following his big-money move back to the club from Juventus last summer.

Manchester United are currently facing an uphill battle to qualify for next season’s Champions League, with the Red Devils currently fifth in the Premier League table.

However, Jose Mourinho’s men could still secure their spot in next season’s Champions League if they win the Europa League this term.

Pogba and his Manchester United team-mates are set to take on Anderlecht in the first leg of their quarter-final clash in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Frenchman was asked in his news conference on Wednesday evening in Brussels whether he would rather Manchester United finished in the top four or won the Europa League this season.

And Pogba replied: “I want to do both. I think we can do both.

“We just have to be focused and work hard – I think we can do it. I came to Manchester United for a challenge.

“It’s normal for this club to be in the Champions League. We have to get back into it, that’s the objective, that’s the big one.”
