Andrea Belotti insists he isn’t fazed by his £85m release clause amid reported interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Torino striker has established himself as one of the most-exciting prospects in Serie A over the past 12 months or so.

Indeed, the Italy international has scored 25 goals and has made five assists in 31 appearances in Serie A this term.

Belotti’s excellent form has naturally prompted talk of a big-money move to Old Trafford at the end of the 2016-17 season, while Chelsea have also been linked with the forward.

However, the centre-forward’s suitors could be put off by Belotti’s £85m release clause, which would make the Italian the most-expensive striker in the world.

Speaking to Tika Taka – as quoted by talkSPORT – Belotti was adamant that he hasn’t spent too much time thinking about his price tag.

“The clause honestly has no effect on me,” Belotti said.

“The transfer market gives inflated figures, the price of a player has risen a lot.”
