Paul Ince: Man United will need to stop this player to beat Chelsea
The former Manchester United midfielder warns Jose Mourinho's men that Eden Hazard will be key to Chelsea's bid to win at Old Trafford
Paul Ince believes stopping Eden Hazard will be key to Manchester United’s chances of beating Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils will be looking to bolster their top-four prospects with a victory over the Premier League leaders at Old Trafford.
Manchester United have already fallen foul of the west London side on two occasions this season following defeats in the top flight and the FA Cup.
The 20-time English champions were 4-0 winners against Manchester United in the Premier League back in October thanks to goals from Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard, Pedro Rodriguez and N’Golo Kante.
Antonio Conte’s summer signing from Leicester City was the unlikely match-winner in their FA Cup quarter-final back in March as Kante netted the winner in a 1-0 victory over the Red Devils.
However, Ince believes it is his fellow PFA player of the year nominee Hazard that Manchester United will need to stop at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
“It’s a tight one to call on Sunday, if United can shackle Hazard they’ve got more than a chance of winning. However, Chelsea will be fresh without any midweek football, so the home side will need to be wary,” Ince told Paddy Power’s blog.
