Antonio Conte has urged his Chelsea players to forget about their FA Cup semi-final win and focus on Tuesday night’s trip to Southampton.

The Blues eased to an entertaining 4-2 win against title rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Saturday evening courtesy of goals from Willian, Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic.

Chelsea will return to Premier League action on Tuesday night when Conte’s side look to make a swift return to winning ways after a run of two defeats in their last four outings.

Indeed, Chelsea lost 2-0 to Manchester United in the Premier League earlier this month to allow Tottenham to move to within four points of their London rivals in the title race.

Speaking at his post-match media conference after Chelsea’s dramatic win against Spurs, Conte was already thinking about their return to Premier League action.

“Now it is important to refocus because we have only two and a half days to rest and recover and prepare very well because against Southampton we have a tough game, and we must know Tottenham will fight to the end to win the title,” Conte said.
