Gary Neville has warned Chelsea that they must respond quickly in the Premier League title race after their 2-0 loss to Manchester United on Sunday.

Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera handed Jose Mourinho’s men victory over the Blues and dealt a fresh blow to Chelsea’s title challenge.

With Tottenham having beaten Bournemouth 4-0 at White Hart Lane on Saturday, Spurs are now just four points behind Chelsea with six games left to play this season.

And former Manchester United defender Neville claims that the Blues will be feeling under intense pressure after the defeat at Old Trafford.

Speaking during Sky Sports‘ coverage of the game, Neville said: “It’s certainly given Chelsea something to think about.

“With Tottenham breathing down their necks, they can’t make mistakes. There’s nothing worse than being chased and hunted down.”

Tottenham are currently gearing up for their crunch clash against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals next weekend.
