Antonio Conte has admitted that his Chelsea side will have to be at their very best if they want to beat Tottenham and reach the FA Cup final.

Conte has the task of lifting his Chelsea players after the disappointment of their 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

That defeat left Chelsea just four points clear of second-placed Spurs with six games left to play in the Premier League title race.

However, both teams will look to put Premier League affairs to one side when they do battle in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

And Conte admits that his team will have to step their game up if they want to beat Spurs in north London this weekend.

Speaking at his post-match news conference at Old Trafford on Sunday, Conte explained why his side must stay focused.

“We all know you either go to the final or you don’t, and so we must put 200 per cent to reach the final,” Conte said.

“It won’t be easy because Tottenham now are the best team. They are in great form and they have a lot of enthusiasm because they are feeling the possibility of writing history.”
