Michael Owen is backing Tottenham Hotspur to beat Bournemouth in a 12th successive home win in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The north London side will have the chance to move to within four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea with six games to go.

Tottenham were 4-0 winners against Watford in the London derby at White Hart Lane last weekend thanks to goals from Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Eric Dier.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have the chance to put substantial pressure on the leaders this weekend with Chelsea not in action until Sunday afternoon.

Indeed, the Blues are facing the long trip to Manchester United in the Premier League as Spurs enjoy the comforts of a home game at White Hart Lane.

Writing in his Bet Victor column about the clash between Tottenham and Bournemouth at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon, Owen said:

“It was great to see Harry Kane back as a second half substitute for Spurs last weekend and it is hard to see past a twelfth successive home win for the north London club in the early kick-off.

“If Spurs beat the Cherries they will already have more points (71) this season than they did last term and I like what Mauricio Pochettino is doing at White Hart Lane.”
