Ian Wright is backing Arsenal to beat Everton in their final Premier League game at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners need to beat the Toffees to keep their slim top-four hopes alive and rely on Middlesbrough to cause an upset against Liverpool at Anfield.

Arsene Wenger is facing the real possibility of failing to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since he took over the reins at the north London club in 1996.

Arsenal have been in impressive form in recent weeks thanks to victories over Manchester United, Stoke City, Southampton and Sunderland to put the pressure on Liverpool.

Alexis Sanchez could still finish as the Premier League’s top goal-scorer after netting 23 times in 37 appearances in the 2016-17 campaign.

Speaking to the Sun Goals podcast about Arsenal’s home clash against Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, Wright said:

“I think Arsenal will beat Everton.”
