Ian Wright has admitted that he “fears” for Arsenal heading into Sunday’s showdown with Manchester United in the Premier League.

The north London side head into the game on the back of their disappointing 2-0 loss to Tottenham in the Premier League at White Hart Lane last weekend.

That result dealt a fresh damaging blow to Arsenal’s top-four hopes and left Arsene Wenger’s men in sixth place in the table heading into this weekend’s round of games.

And Arsenal legend Wright admits that he fears for his former side heading into Sunday’s clash with Jose Mourinho’s men at The Emirates.

Speaking to the Sun Goals podcast, former Arsenal striker Wright said: “You don’t know what you’re going to get from Arsenal.

“This is a game where you fear for them. They look bereft of confidence.”

Arsenal can still end the season with a trophy as they take on Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley later this month.
