Jamie Redknapp is backing Arsenal to beat Manchester United in Sunday’s crunch Premier League clash at The Emirates.

The north London side are preparing to welcome Jose Mourinho’s men to Emirates Stadium as they look to bounce back from the disappointment of their 2-0 loss to Tottenham last weekend.

Arsenal desperately need a win to keep alive their hopes of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

Manchester United, meanwhile, head into the game fresh from their victory over Celta Vigo in the Europa League last week.

Arsenal are currently sixth, just below Manchester United in the Premier League table heading into the game.

And former Liverpool midfielder Redknapp is tipping the Gunners to claim all three points and keep alive their fading hopes of Champions League qualification.

Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Redknapp said: “I think Arsenal will come out on top.

“I can see lots of goals going in but if the home side turn up ready for a battle and ready to deliver on the big stage, they have the ability to come out on top and end United’s long unbeaten run.”
