Dietmar Hamann is backing Arsenal to beat Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils will make the trip to the Emirates Stadium after a 1-0 win at Celta Vigo on Thursday night.
Marcus Rashford scored a free-kick in the second half to secure a slight advantage in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final.
Manchester United have drawn their last two Premier League games with Manchester City and Swansea City to leave their top-four hopes in doubt.
Jose Mourinho has threatened to field a weakened team against an Arsenal side that lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby.
Writing in his Paddy Power column about the bitter clash between Arsenal and Manchester United, Hamann said:
“Sunday’s game against Manchester United is the last chance saloon for both clubs to get into the Champions League via their Premier League position.
“Liverpool had a great result last Monday at Watford capitalising on the chasing pack’s mistakes. So it’s win-or-bust for both.
“United have some many games to come and a lot of injuries piling up, so I’m picking Arsenal to win this one.”
Arsenal are in sixth place in the Premier League table and nine points behind Liverpool in third spot.
The Gunners are facing the prospect of failing to finish in the Premier League’s top four for the first time under Arsene Wenger.
