Gary Neville believes that Antonio Conte’s biggest challenge at Chelsea next season will be to make sure that Eden Hazard and Diego Costa hit top form again.

The Blues are on the verge of being crowned Premier League champions after a brilliant debut campaign for Conte at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian was drafted in as Chelsea’s new manager last summer after the Blues slumped to a shock tenth-placed finish in the Premier League and finished the campaign without a trophy.

Chelsea’s transformation under Conte has been nothing short of remarkable when compared to their struggles last term.

The Blues are on the brink of the title and can also win the FA Cup this season, with the likes of Hazard and Costa in top form once again.

And former Manchester United defender Neville has talked up the importance of Chelsea having Costa and Hazard at their best next term.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Neville said: “The challenge for Conte will be next year.

“He needs to get Costa and Hazard to respond again. They dropped off in the previous two seasons.”
