Chelsea are interested in making a summer transfer swoop to sign Dani Alves from Juventus, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish newspaper Sport is reporting that Chelsea are keen on signing the full-back this summer and that Blues scouts watched Alves in action during the win over Monaco in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Chelsea are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Antonio Conte gears up for his second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian manager will want to bolster his squad as he prepares them for a return to the Champions League next season.

Alves joined Juventus on a free transfer from Barcelona last summer and Conte is believed to be on the lookout for some much-needed experience as Chelsea get ready for a return to the Champions League.

The 34-year-old Brazilian has scored five goals and made six assists in 29 appearances in all competitions for Juventus so far this season.
