Chelsea are ready to spend £70m on signing Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger from Roma in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.

The Sun are reporting that the west London side are ready to try and bring both players to Stamford Bridge this summer as Antonio Conte prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.

The story says that Conte is set to be handed a major transfer budget to strengthen his squad this summer and that Roma duo Nainggolan and Rudiger are high up on his shortlist.

Belgium star Nainggolan was linked with a move to Chelsea last summer following Conte’s appointment at the club but a transfer failed to materialise.

German defender Rudiger is also a target as Conte looks to fill the void left by John Terry, when the veteran defender leaves Stamford Bridge in the summer.
