Eden Hazard fires Chelsea warning to Arsenal
Eden Hazard says Chelsea have put their title celebrations on hold until after next weekend's FA Cup final against Arsenal
Eden Hazard has warned Arsenal that Chelsea will do everything in their power to beat the Gunners in next weekend’s FA Cup final.
The Blues are aiming to complete a domestic double in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea won the Premier League title earlier this month.
The west London side have been the Premier League’s top performing team this season and will be looking to end the campaign on a high by beating Arsenal in next weekend’s FA Cup final at Wembley.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are aiming to cap a largely disappointing season by winning a trophy and the FA Cup for the third time in four years.
However, Hazard has told Arsenal that he and his Chelsea team-mates have put their title celebrations on hold ahead of next weekend’s FA Cup final.
Hazard told BBC Sport’s Football Focus: “We can’t celebrate a lot because we have the FA Cup final, we have to be ready for that, but after (winning the league at) West Brom we did a little party together.
“Even in the dressing room, it was good to see the smile on faces. I think at the end of the season we deserved to win this title.
“It’s not just me, the whole team, all the players they have been fantastic. We won a lot of games.
“We have one more game (against Sunderland on Sunday) and the FA Cup final to play. I hope we can win the double.”
Hazard will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues play their final Premier League game of the season with a home clash against Sunderland on Sunday.
