Ian Wright has warned Arsenal fans that they have no choice but to come to terms with Tottenham’s impressive rise in recent seasons.

The Lilywhites have been in superb form under Mauricio Pochettino this term and are currently Chelsea’s closest challengers to win the Premier League title.

Tottenham were emphatic 2-0 winners over Arsenal in last weekend’s north London derby clash at White Hart Lane.

That result ensured that Tottenham will finish above Arsenal in the table for the first time in 22 years.

And Gunners legend Wright admits that Arsenal are being left behind by their bitter local rivals following their brilliant form under Mauricio Pochettino.

Speaking to The Sun Goals podcast, Wright said: “Tottenham look like they’re on the march.

“It’s something we [Arsenal fans] have to come to terms with pretty quickly. We’re being left behind.”
