Gary Neville says Chelsea need to continue their winning momentum ahead of their FA Cup final against Arsenal at Wembley.

The Blues won the Premier League title on Friday night after Chelsea were 1-0 winners against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns thanks to Michy Batshuayi’s winner.

Antonio Conte made wholesale changes to his Chelsea team for the visit of Watford, with the Blues easing to a thrilling 4-3 win against the Hornets at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Chelsea have one more Premier League assignment against relegated Sunderland on Sunday before switching their focus to the FA Cup final against Arsenal on Saturday 27 May.

Former Manchester United defender Neville sent a message to Chelsea about the importance of maintaining their winning run ahead of the FA Cup final at Wembley.

“It’s important to keep winning. It’s important to keep the momentum going. They have a final coming up,” Neville told Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

“You want to make sure you have that confidence going into it. You don’t want any doubts at all.”

Chelsea haven’t won the FA Cup since a 2-1 win against Liverpool in the FA Cup showpiece back in 2012.
