Rio Ferdinand has hailed Antonio Conte for masterminding Chelsea’s demolition of Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Premier League leaders eased to a comfortable 3-0 win against the Toffees on Sunday afternoon to cement their four-point lead at the top of the table.

Chelsea were emphatic winners thanks to goals from Pedro Rodriguez, Gary Cahill and Willian in the second half on the blue half of Merseyside.

The west London side will face Middlesbrough, West Brom, Watford and Sunderland in their final four Premier League games.

Conte took over the reins of Chelsea after the 2012 Champions League winners succumbed to a disappointing tenth-placed finish last term.

And former Manchester United defender Ferdinand has been hugely impressed by Conte’s impact.

“Antonio Conte is on fire,” Ferdinand said in a video on his YouTube channel. “He is just churning out results.

“Chelsea travelling to Everton at Goodison Park. Everybody thought they’d slip up [against] their bogey team.

“Conte sent them out and Chelsea dismantled Everton at Goodison Park. I can’t see them slipping up.”

The Blues are looking to win their second Premier League title in three seasons.

The west London side will take on rivals Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley later this month.
