Cesc Fabregas believes that Chelsea will be serious contenders for the Champions League title next season.

The Blues have proven themselves as the best team in England this season after they clinched the Premier League title with two games to spare in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge.

The west London side are still hoping to win a domestic double this season and will take on Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley at the end of the month.

Fabregas has found his first-team opportunities to be limited this season but has impressed whenever called upon by Conte.

The 30-year-old midfielder will be hoping to play a part in helping Chelsea make a successful return to Europe next season.

And the former Arsenal captain is confident that the Blues will be able to challenge for the Champions League title next term.

Fabregas is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “We definitely feel we can do something in the Champions League. It will be a big target for us.

“Now lately you see the English teams are struggling.
