Chelsea are confident that Eden Hazard will commit his future to the west London club, say reports
Chelsea are confident Eden Hazard will commit his future to the west London club this summer by signing a new contract worth £300,000 a week, according to reports.
The Telegraph is reporting that Chelsea are expecting to see the 26-year-old Belgium international sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge after holding “positive” talks with the player in recent days.
Hazard’s future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks, with Real Madrid said to be interested in bringing him to the Bernabeu.
However, Chelsea fans will be pleased to hear the reports that the Belgian looks set to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer.
The same report goes on to say that Chelsea are “adamant” that Hazard will not be sold in the summer transfer window.
Hazard won the Premier League title for a second time with Chelsea on Friday night thanks to their 1-0 win over West Brom at The Hawthorns.
The Belgian has scored 15 goals and made five assists in the Premier League so far this season.
