Chelsea are confident of beating the likes of Manchester United and Juventus to the signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco this summer, according to reports.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the west London side are hopeful of bringing the 22-year-old midfielder to Stamford Bridge as Antonio Conte prepares his side for a return to the Champions League next season.

The same report states that Bakayoko has attracted interest from a host of Europe’s top clubs, including the likes of both Manchester sides, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

However, the story also says that Chelsea are hoping to secure the £30m signing of Bakayoko soon after the transfer window reopens.

The article says that Antonio Conte is a big fan of Bakayoko and sees him fitting into Chelsea’s midfield alongside PFA player of the year N’Golo Kante.

Conte, however, will be focusing on the task at hand on Friday night as his Chelsea side look to clinch the Premier League title by beating West Brom at The Hawthorns.
