Emre Can sends message to Man United about Liverpool in top-four race
The Liverpool midfielder says Jurgen Klopp's side are confident about winning their last three games to secure a top-four finish
Emre Can has warned Arsenal and Manchester United that Liverpool are feeling confident in the top-four race.
The Reds eased to a 1-0 win against Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Monday night to make a swift return to winning ways.
Can was responsible for securing three points after the Germany international scored a sensational winner at Vicarage Road.
The German midfielder made the breakthrough with a stunning overhead kick on the move on the stroke of half-time in Monday night’s Premier League clash.
Liverpool are in third place in the Premier League table and four points ahead of Manchester United in fifth place.
Speaking to BBC Sport about Liverpool’s top-four challenge after Monday night’s 1-0 win at Watford, Can had a warning for their top-four rivals.
“”Everything is in our hands. If we win the three games we are in the Champions League. We are confident. If we perform how we can perform then we can do it,” Can said.
Liverpool are looking to return to the Champions League for the first time since 2014-15.
The Reds finished in eighth place in the Premier League table last term.
