Charlie Nicholas predicts where Liverpool, Man City will finish

Charlie Nicholas is backing Manchester City to finish in third place ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are in third spot and three points ahead of Manchester City with three games to go in the Merseyside outfit’s campaign.
The Citizens have played one game less than Liverpool in the top-four race but lost ground on their rivals after a 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough at the weekend.
Liverpool are looking to secure a return to the Champions League for the first time since their doomed 2014-15 campaign which resulted in a group-stage exit.
Former Arsenal midfielder Nicholas is tipping Manchester City to finish ahead of Liverpool in third place.
“The only issue I have is whether Manchester City can jump above Liverpool.
“People are looking at those fixtures and reading them wrong because of how often Liverpool drop points in games they’re supposed to win. It was a massive result for Jurgen Klopp against Watford but they very nearly dropped another two points and they really do struggle to beat teams below them.
“City have Gabriel Jesus back and a clear focus on the top four. They are a side who usually do beat the teams below them so I’m backing them for third.”
Manchester City will welcome Crystal Palace at The Etihad on Saturday before the Reds are in action.
Palace, of course, were 2-1 winners against Liverpool in their last away game.
Liverpool will host Southampton in their next Premier League game at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
