Liverpool want 17-year-old starlet to replace Alberto Moreno this summer – report
Liverpool are looking to sign Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon in the summer transfer window, according to reports
Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to sign Ryan Sessegnon as Alberto Moreno’s replacement this summer, according to reports.
The Liverpool Echo are reporting that Klopp is interested in signing the 17-year-old full-back from Championship side Fulham in the summer.
The same article states that Liverpool are willing to offer £10m for the England Under-19 international’s services at the end of the season.
Liverpool have been playing midfielder James Milner in an unorthodox left-back role throughout the 2016-17 season with reasonable success.
Moreno fell behind Milner in the left-back pecking order after an erratic second half of the 2015-16 campaign and a catatrosphic performance in the Europa League final.
The story in The Liverpool Echo claims that Klopp will look to sell Moreno in the summer transfer window as the Reds manager shakes up his squad.
Liverpool signed Moreno in a £12m deal from La Liga side Sevilla in the 2014 summer transfer window.
The Reds are on course to finish in the Premier League’s top four this term.
