Manchester United have approached Torino about the possibility of signing striker Andrea Belotti this summer, according to reports.
ESPN FC are reporting that Red Devils officials have contacted Torino to register their interest in signing the striker in the summer transfer window.
The same story claims that Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is determined to sign two quality attacking players this summer, with Atletico Madrid striker his first priority.
And the article states that Mourinho is interested in bringing the 23-year-old Belotti to Old Trafford this summer.
The striker has scored 27 goals in 34 games in Serie A for Torino this season and is earning a reputation as one of Europe’s top forwards.
The story also claims that Belotti has a release clause of €100m (£84.5m) in his contract with the Serie A club.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players in the summer transfer window as Mourinho looks to prepare his squad for his second season in charge at Old Trafford.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will be playing Champions League football next season, however.
