Manchester United will face a battle with Ajax to sign Pawel Cibicki from Malmo this summer, say reports
Manchester United are ready to make a transfer swoop to try and sign Pawel Cibicki from Malmo this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old Swedish forward and have been impressed by what they have seen.
The same report states that the Red Devils are ready to make a swoop to try and bring Cibicki to Old Trafford this summer – and they they will watch him again in the U21 Euros this summer.
However, the report also states that Manchester United are likely to have to fight with their Europa League final opponents Ajax for Cibicki’s signature this summer.
The story also says that Malmo are likely to want a transfer fee of around £7.5m for the player, who has scored four goals and made eight assists for Malmo this season.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his second season in charge at the club.
