Jose Mourinho to rekindle Man United interest in 19-year-old Bundesliga starlet – report
Bayern Munich are open to offers for former Manchester United target Renato Sanches this summer
Bayern Munich are open to selling Renato Sanches in the summer, according to reports in Germany.
Kicker – as quoted by Metro – is reporting that the Bundesliga giants would consider offers for the 19-year-old at the end of the season.
The same article states the German champions have already earmarked a replacement for Sanches and are willing to sell the teenager in a cut-price deal.
Manchester United were heavily linked with a move to sign the Benfica midfielder last summer following Jose Mourinho’s appointment as manager.
However, Bayern managed to beat their European rivals to the signature of the exciting talent.
Sanches, though, has struggled to make an impression at the Bavarian side over the course of the 2016-17 season under Carlo Ancelotti.
The defensive midfielder has started six Bundesliga games but has made a further 11 appearances from the bench.
Manchester United signed Paul Pogba in a world-record £89m deal last summer following Mourinho’s appointment as Louis van Gaal’s replacement.
