Jose Mourinho ready to re-sign Man United star sold by Louis van Gaal – report
Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a summer transfer bid to bring Javier Hernandez back to Manchester United
Jose Mourinho has explored the possibility of re-signing Javier Hernandez for Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Manchester United manager is considering whether to try and bring Hernandez back to Old Trafford this summer.
The Mexico striker was deemed to be surplus to requirements by Louis van Gaal and was sold to Bayer Leverkusen back in 2015.
Mourinho has spoken about his surprise that Manchester United sold Hernandez during the course of the season, prompting suggestions that he could look to bring him back to Old Trafford.
Manchester United have relied heavily on goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the 35-year-old the Red Devils’ top scorer this season with 28 strikes.
However, the Red Devils are bound to be linked with a host of attacking players in the summer transfer window as Mourinho begins to think about bolstering his squad ahead of his second season in charge at Old Trafford.
