Ian Wright took to Twitter to highlight Cesc Fabregas’ impressive performance in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Middlesbrough on Monday night.

The Spain international was drafted into the Chelsea starting line-up in the absence of PFA player of the year winner N’Golo Kante.

Fabregas’ future at the west London club has been a source of speculation in recent weeks amid reported interest from AC Milan, Liverpool and Manchester United.

The 30-year-old reminded Antonio Conte of his ability to have a positive impact on Premier League games as he controlled the Chelsea midfield.

Fabregas became the first player to make 10 assists in six different Premier League seasons after the former Arsenal captain teed up Nemanja Matic in the second half.

Former Gunners striker Wright took to Twitter to post a succinct update referencing Fabregas’ performance.

Wright wrote: “Fabregas 👏👏👏”
