Ian Wright states his prediction for Tottenham v Man United
Ian Wright looks ahead to Tottenham's home clash with Manchester United at White Hart Lane on Sunday
Ian Wright is tipping Tottenham to beat Manchester United in Sunday’s Premier League clash at White Hart Lane.
Spurs are gearing up for the final game at their current stadium as they prepare to move to their new ground in 2018.
The Lilywhites will play all of their home games at Wembley next season as the final stages of construction of their new stadium are completed.
And former Arsenal star Wright is backing the Lilywhites to give White Hart Lane the perfect send-off by beating Manchester United at the ground on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking on the BBC Sport 606 podcast, Wright said: “I’m going to go for Tottenham to beat them in the final game, we’re not talking about a great Manchester United team.”
Tottenham head into the game having seen Chelsea be crowned champions after Spurs slipped up at West Ham United in their most recent game.
Spurs were also beaten by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals to leave them trophyless.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men are on course to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
