Michael Owen is expecting Tottenham’s clash with Manchester United on Sunday to be a low-scoring affair.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after the disappointment of their 2-0 defeat by Arsenal at The Emirates last weekend.

Jose Mourinho’s men are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table after a disappointing season in the top flight for the Red Devils.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are also looking to get back to winning ways after their 1-0 loss to West Ham United at the London Stadium last week.

Sunday’s game is set to be the last Premier League clash at the current White Hart Lane before Spurs switch to their new ground the season after next.

And former Manchester United striker Owen is expecting to see a low-scoring affair when the two teams meet in north London on Sunday afternoon.

Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Spurs have won their last 13 home league games and they will equal a 30-year-old club record if they make it 14 in their last game at White Hart Lane.

“Demolition of the famous old ground starts on Monday and it is sure to be a nostalgic and emotional farewell – I don’t expect Jose Mourinho’s United side to play too expansive a game and one goal either way might be enough.”
