Insider delivers latest update on Liverpool’s bid to sign 24-year-old winger
Liverpool have tabled a bid to sign winger Mohamed Salah this summer, according to Kaveh Solhekol
Roma have confirmed that they have received a bid from Liverpool to sign winger Mohamed Salah this summer, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Sky Sports News HQ reporter took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to reveal that the Italian side have received an offer from an English club.
However, Solhekol reports that Roma have made it clear to Liverpool that Salah will only leave the Stadio Olimpico for the right price this summer.
Solhekol tweeted on Wednesday afternoon: “Roma director Monchi confirms they’ve received offer from English club (Liverpool) for Mohamed Salah. Says he’ll only leave for right price.”
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a bid to sign Salah this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his attacking options at Anfield.
The Reds have already confirmed the capture of young striker Dominic Solanke from Chelsea but the Merseyside outfit will be expecting to make a number of new additions this summer as Klopp prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
Salah has regularly been touted as a target for Liverpool this summer and further fuelled the speculation when he posed with two fans holding up Reds shirts earlier this month.
