And the Swedish defender was joined by his girlfriend Maja Nilsson as the centre-half put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Red Devils.
Lindelof had long been linked with a move to Old Trafford and was touted as a target for the Premier League club back in the January transfer window.
Now that the transfer has finally been completed, Lindelof and his partner Nilsson have been getting to know the club.
And Nilsson was quick to pay a visit to Old Trafford after the deal was confirmed.
She posted the picture above on her personal Instagram account and sent a classy message to the fans of Lindelof’s former club Benfica.
Nilsson wrote: “I just want to take a moment and thank all of the benfiquistas out there.
“You are truly amazing and I am so happy that you were the ones teaching me what true fans and love for a club really means. Thank you for all of your unconditionally love and for letting us borrow your amazing city Lisboa for these past years.
“I will always look back at the time in Lisbon and Benfica with so much love. Obrigada por tudo. Até ja ❤🇵🇹 And Manchester, I will see you in August. Can’t wait.”
Lindelof is now due to jet off on holiday before linking up with his new team-mates next month for pre-season training.
