Antoine Griezmann has taken to social media to congratulate Alexandre Lacazette on his transfer to Arsenal from Lyon this week.

The 26-year-old French forward was finally unveiled as a Gunners player on Wednesday after relentless speculation linking him with a move to The Emirates.

Lacazette becomes Arsenal’s second signing of the summer after the Gunners brought in left-back Sead Kolasinac from Schalke on a free transfer earlier in the summer.

Griezmann knows Lacazette well from their time playing together in the French national team.

And the Atletico Madrid forward was quick to take to Twitter to congratulate Lacazette on his transfer to Arsenal.

Griezmann tweeted: “Very happy for you amigo! Lots of golazo (goals)!”

And Arsenal’s new striker replied: “Thank you bro!!!! 😉😉🔴⚪️”

Arsenal are aiming to break back into the top four next season after Arsene Wenger’s men finished in fifth place in the Premier League last term.

The Gunners will have to make do with Europa League football next term after they missed out on Champions League qualification.

They did, however, end the campaign on a high by beating Chelsea to win the FA Cup in May.
