Arsenal offered chance to sign 24-year-old Barcelona midfielder – report
Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Rafinha from Barcelona this summer, say reports
Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Rafinha from Barcelona this summer, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports is claiming that the 24-year-old midfielder has been offered to the Gunners as his future at the Spanish club remains in doubt.
The same story says that the attacking midfielder has not travelled with the rest of the Barcelona squad for their pre-season tour of the USA and he could be available for around €30m this summer.
The report comes after Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insisted that Rafinha would not be sold this summer.
Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for a number of reinforcements this summer as they prepare for the new season.
The Gunners have inevitably been linked with a host of players this summer but have so far only concluded deals to sign striker Alexandre Lacazette and left-back Sead Kolasinac.
The north London side will have to make do without Champions League football next season after they ended up fifth in the Premier League table last term.
However, they did end the season on a high by winning the FA Cup.
