Tiemoue Bakayoko took the time to pose for a selfie with Nemanja Matic after signing for Chelsea on Saturday – despite the speculation linking the Serbian with a move to Manchester United.

The French midfielder signed a five-year contract with the Blues on Saturday after being relentlessly linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old became Chelsea’s third signing of the summer after the captures of Willy Caballero and Antonio Rudiger.

There has been widespread speculation linking Matic with a possible move to Manchester United this summer because of the increased competition for a midfield place Bakayoko is likely to bring.

However, that did not appear to stop Bakayoko posing for a picture with the man he could be set to replace at Cobham on Saturday.

The midfielder shared the picture above on his personal Instagram story on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester United are believed to still be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
