Danilo is trying to force through a transfer to Chelsea from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Brazilian defender is hugely keen on a move to Stamford Bridge and wants Real Madrid to allow him to leave.

Danilo has struggled to hold down a regular spot at Real Madrid since joining the club from Porto in 2015 and only made 17 La Liga starts last term.

According to the same story, the 25-year-old is urging Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to let him sign for Chelsea this summer.

The article also states that Danilo is pushing for a move to Stamford Bridge because he is keen to link up with manager Antonio Conte.

Conte is on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Conte prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.

The Blues won the Premier League title in Conte’s first campaign at the club last season.
