Antonio Conte has revealed that he is still hoping Chelsea will tie up the signing of at least one more player before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Blues have been very active in the summer transfer market after making a slow start to proceedings.

The west London side wrapped up their fourth signing of the summer on Friday when Alvaro Morata signed a five-year contract to join from Real Madrid.

Morata’s arrival at Stamford Bridge followed the signings of Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko as Conte moved to ready his squad for a return to the Champions League next season.

With more than a month left in the current transfer window, Chelsea inevitably continue to be linked with a host of other players this summer.

And Conte has revealed that he is keen for the west London side to sign at least one more player this summer.

Conte is quoted as saying by Metro: “In Singapore, Rudiger and Morata will arrive, maybe someone else.

“I hope. I know very well that the club is working strong, very hard to try to make me the best way to work.”

Chelsea won the Premier League last season but lost to Arsenal in the FA Cup final.
