N’Golo Kante has warned his Chelsea team-mates that Arsenal are capable of stealing their Premier League title next season.

The Blues were in impressive form last season in what was Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club as they won the title.

Arsenal, meanwhile, struggled to produce consistent performances in the top flight last term and ended up fifth in the table as they missed out on Champions League qualification.

Chelsea will be aiming to defend their Premier League title next season but are likely to face heavy competition from their rivals in the top flight.

And Kante is convinced that Arsenal will be one of the main challengers for the Premier League title next season.

“Can they win the title? Yes, yes, yes,” Kante told the Evening Standard.

“Arsenal is a good team with good players. They won one trophy last season and are a team we have to be careful with.

“It’s good for him [Wenger] and for Arsenal [that he signed a new deal]. He did some good things during many years at Arsenal. But I’m at Chelsea. If we can beat them, we will do it.”

Arsenal will be looking to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2004 next season.

The Gunners did end last season on a high when they beat Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May to win the trophy for the third time in four years.
