Chelsea want to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports in the British media.

Sky Sports is claiming that the Blues have identified Aubameyang as a top target this summer as Antonio Conte looks to beef up his attacking options ahead of his second season in charge at the club.

The same story claims that Aubameyang has joined Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid and Torino’s Andrea Belotti on Conte’s three-man shortlist for a new attacker this summer.

Chelsea were heavily linked with a bid to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton throughout the summer but a move failed to materialise and the striker ended up signing for Manchester United last week.

The article says that Borussia Dortmund are willing to let Aubameyang – the top scorer in the Bundesliga last season – leave the club for a fee of around £70m this summer.

It is also claimed in the same story that Dortmund want Aubameyang’s future to be sorted out by 24 July, when they leave for a training camp in Switzerland.

Chelsea have signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko so far this summer.
