Kenedy looked to be in high spirits as he posed for a selfie with a handful of his Chelsea team-mates during training at Cobham on Friday.

The Brazilian found his first-team opportunities to be severely restricted last season and only made one appearances in the Premier League for Antonio Conte’s men.

It remains to be seen whether Kenedy will still be a Chelsea player when the transfer window closes or whether he will seek a move for more regular playing time.

However, it seems that the 21-year-old Brazilian is not letting his lack of playing time get him down as he bids to prove himself to Conte ahead of the Italian coach’s second season in charge at the club.

Kenedy posed for a picture with Kurt Zouma, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso and Michy Batshuyai at Cobham on Friday as Conte’s men continued their preparations for the new season.

Chelsea are preparing to try and defend their Premier League title next season after the Blues won the title in Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club.
