Chelsea still want to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus this summer, according to Kaveh Solhekol.

The Sky Sports News reporter has claimed that the west London side are still keen to bring Sandro to Stamford Bridge this summer as Antonio Conte looks to strengthen his options at full-back ahead of next season.

Chelsea have already been busy in this summer’s transfer market, signing Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.

However, the Blues are still thought to be on the lookout for Sandro, according to Sheth.

But the Sky Sports News reporter claims that the Blues could have to shell out as much as £60m to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Speaking on Sky Sports News on Wednesday morning, Sheth said: “As for signings at Chelsea, they remain interested in Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

“Juve are reluctant to sell and have offered the Brazilian a new contract.

“It’s thought Chelsea would need to spend £60m to have any chance of getting Sandro.”

Chelsea are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after the Blues finished top of the Premier League in Conte’s first campaign in charge last term.

The west London side didn’t compete in Europe last season as they just focused on domestic affairs.
