Chelsea’s number one transfer target is top 24-year-old – report
Alvaro Morata is still Chelsea's prime attacking target this summer, according to reports
Alvaro Morata remains as Chelsea’s top transfer target this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is claiming that the 24-year-old Spaniard remains as the Blues’ number one priority this summer as Antonio Conte desperately looks to add some more firepower to his squad ahead of next season.
The same report states that the Blues could face fresh competition from AC Milan for the signature of the Spain international but both clubs would rather sign Morata ahead of Torino’s Andrea Belotti.
Chelsea are also interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the same story.
The same article claims that Chelsea have enquired to Manchester City about the possibility of signing striker Sergio Aguero but were quickly told that he is not for sale.
The Blues are thought to be keen to bolster their attacking options this summer after having missed out on Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, who signed for Manchester United last week.
The west London side have so far signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer ahead of Conte’s second campaign at the club.
